11 units affected
On certain Freightliner M2 106 trucks, the chassis hose bundle may have been incorrectly secured by Altec Industries during the installation of their aerial device or digger derrick assembly. A kinked front brake hose would result in a loss of front brake function which, in conjunction with traffic and road conditions, and the driver’s reactions, could increase the risk of a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Freightliner dealers will replace the front brake hoses.
