Issue: On certain aerial devices, the fuel lines may not have been secured properly and could become damaged. As a result, fuel could leak. Safety Risk: A fuel leak can create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: To reduce the safety risk, Altec recommends that you periodically inspect the fuel lines for leaks until the recall repairs are completed. Altec Industries will notify owners by mail and provide instructions for inspecting for loose fuel lines. A repair kit will be provided to secure the fuel lines, if necessary. If the lines are damaged, they will be repaired.

U.S. NHTSA recalls

Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2024 AT and TA series aerial devices, and ST series spray bodies. The fuel or brake lines may not be properly secured, which can cause the lines to become damaged and leak.
Risk: A brake fluid leak can cause brake failure, increasing the risk of a crash. A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase the risk of a fire.
Remedy: Altec will provide owners with instructions to inspect the brake and fuel lines. If improperly secured, Altec will provide a kit to secure the lines. If the lines are damaged, dealers will repair the fuel and brake lines. Repairs will be performed free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on January 23, 2025. Owners may contact Altec customer service at 1-877-462-5832. Altec's number for this recall is CSN-3181.
