  • Accessories#2024344

    37 units affected

Issue: On certain aerial devices, the hydraulic feeder tube could become damaged by contact with the cylinder rest bracket. As a result, the feeder tube could leak oil. If this happens, there could be an uncontrolled movement of the boom. Safety Risk: Uncontrolled boom movement could increase the risk of injury to the operator and nearby people. Corrective Actions: Altec Industries will notify owners by mail and advise you to contact Altec Service to inspect and, if necessary, replace the cylinder rest pad and feeder tube. To reduce the safety risk, Altec advises to periodically inspect the feeder tube for signs of damage until the recall repairs are completed.

  • Structure#2023389

    122 units affected

Issue: On certain aerial devices, a hydraulic hose may have been incorrectly installed between the cylinder port and load-holding valve instead of metal tubing. If the hose gets damaged, the platform or load could move suddenly. Safety Risk: Uncontrolled movement of the platform or load could increase the risk of injury to the operator and people nearby. Corrective Actions: Altec Industries will notify owners by mail and advise you to contact Altec Service to inspect if a hydraulic hose is installed, and replace it with metal tubing as required.

  • Electrical#2023357

    80 units affected

Corrective Actions: Altec Industries will notify owners by mail and provide you with instructions for how to inspect the strobe light assembly, and replace it if necessary.
