Issue: Accessories using chassis air supply could be missing pressure protection valves. This could cause a loss of air pressure to the service brakes through the accessory air system. Note: This is an expansion of Altec recall CSN 724 (Transport Canada Recall No. 2019-348). Safety Risk: A loss of pressure to the service brakes could increase the risk of injury. Corrective Actions: Altec Industries will notify owners by mail and instruct them to inspect their unit for proper pressure protection installations. If the unit fails the inspection, owners are to install the missing pressure protection valves.
