Issue: On certain digger derricks, there is no guard over the controls for the pole guide. As a result, an operator may unintentionally move the pole guide joystick while operating other controls. If this happens, an unbalanced load could move suddenly or fall. Safety Risk: A load that moves suddenly or falls could create a risk of injury. Corrective Actions: Altec Industries will notify owners by mail and provide them with a guard kit to install it over the pole guide controls.
