Issue: The slope indicator placard on certain digger derricks may have incorrect information. This could make a user think that it is not necessary to level the unit while working on a slope. A unit that is not properly levelled could be unstable. Safety Risk: An unstable derrick unit could create a risk of injury. Corrective Actions: The company will notify owners by mail and instruct them to remove the incorrect slope indicator placard.

Certain corner mounted Digger Derricks may have a loose or improperly tightened rotation bearing fasteners. This could lead to structure failure which would increase the risk of injury. Correction: Altec will provide instructions on how to inspect and tighten the fasteners.
