  • Electrical#2024048

    68 units affected

Issue: On certain aerial devices, the wiring in the engine compartment may have been routed incorrectly. As a result, the wiring could become damaged by contact with the hood. If this happens, the wiring could short circuit and melt. Safety Risk: Wiring that overheats and melts could create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: Altec Industries will notify owners by mail and advise you to contact Altec Service to inspect and, if necessary, re-route the wiring and fuse block. To reduce the safety risk, Altec advises to periodically inspect the wiring for signs of damage until the recall repairs are completed.

  • Accessories#2015376

    27 units affected

Certain aerial devices could be operated without the outriggers being properly deployed. If operated under this condition, it could lead to instability, increasing the risk of injury. Correction: Manufacturer will replace the outrigger interlock module.
