Issue: On one vehicle, the final-stage manufacturer's compliance label lists an incorrect gross axle weight rating (GAWR) for the front and rear axles. The label incorrectly lists the front axle capacity as 5443 kg (12000 lb.) and the rear axle capacity as 9525 kg (21000 lb.). The label should instead list the front axle capacity as 4536 kg (10000 lb.) and the rear axle capacity as 8618 kg (19000 lb.). This could lead you to overload the vehicle, which could cause poor handling or a tire failure. Safety Risk: Poor handling or a tire failure could cause a loss of vehicle control and result in a crash. Corrective Actions: Altec Industries will notify the owner by mail and advise them to contact Altec Service to replace the compliance label.

Issue: On certain aerial devices, the fuel lines may not have been secured properly and could become damaged. As a result, fuel could leak. Safety Risk: A fuel leak can create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: To reduce the safety risk, Altec recommends that you periodically inspect the fuel lines for leaks until the recall repairs are completed. Altec Industries will notify owners by mail and provide instructions for inspecting for loose fuel lines. A repair kit will be provided to secure the fuel lines, if necessary. If the lines are damaged, they will be repaired.
