    Issue: On a small number of cranes, the outrigger shoes may not have been manufactured properly. As a result, the shoe(s) could crack and fail. If this happens, the crane could become unstable and fall. Note: This recall only affects certain outrigger shoes with serial number 022201. Safety Risk: A crane that falls could create a risk of injury for the operator and people nearby. Corrective Actions: Altec Industries will notify owners by mail and provide you with instructions for how to inspect the serial number on the outrigger shoes. Altec Service will replace any affected outrigger shoes.

    Issue: On certain vehicles, water could leak into the strobe light assembly. If this happens, the strobe light could short circuit. Safety Risk: A short circuit can create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: Altec Industries will notify owners by mail and provide you with instructions for how to inspect the strobe light assembly, and replace it if necessary.
