  Certains véhicules pourraient ne pas être conformes aux exigences de la norme de sécurité des véhicules automobiles du Canada (NSVAC) 108 – Système d'éclairage et dispositifs rétroréfléchissants. Les phares pourraient ne pas respecter les exigences minimales liées à l'intensité lumineuse prescrites par la norme. L'éclairage insuffisant d'un objet éloigné ou de la route par les phares pourrait augmenter les risques d'accident pouvant entraîner des blessures ou des dommages matériels. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront remplacer les projecteurs scellés.

  Sur certains véhicules, l'ouverture dans le panneau de garniture pourrait empêcher la poignée de frein à main de la remorque de retourner à la position desserrée (OFF), ce qui causerait un freinage résiduel des freins de service de la remorque. Cela pourrait causer une surchauffe de l'extrémité de la roue, qui pourrait prendre feu, et/ou causer une crevaison, ce qui augmenterait les risques d'accident pouvant entraîner des blessures ou des dommages matériels (ou les deux). Correction : Les concessionnaires devront inspecter et remplacer le panneau de garniture, au besoin.

  Volvo Trucks North America (Volvo) is recalling certain model year 2015-2016 VAH and VHD trucks manufactured April 1, 2014, to August 14, 2015. The affected vehicles may be equipped with headlights that do not meet the minimum intensity requirements, resulting in insufficient illumination of the roadway. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."

  Risque: Headlights that provide insufficient illumination increase the risk of a crash.

  Correctif: Volvo will notify owners, and dealers will replace the headlights, free of charge. The recall began on January 19, 2016. Owners may contact Volvo customer service at 1-800-528-6586. Volvo's number for this recall is RVXX1505.

  Volvo Trucks North America (Volvo) is recalling certain model year 2012-2016 VAH trucks manufactured January 31, 2011, to June 25, 2015, and equipped with a sealed drag link. In the affected trucks, the draglink ball socket boot may be damaged due to the angle of the ball stud. A damaged boot may allow contaminants to enter and corrode the ball socket.

  Risque: Corrosion will accelerate wear of the ball, possibly resulting in the ball joint separating from the socket, causing loss of steering and an increased risk of a crash.

  Correctif: Volvo will notify owners, and dealers will replace the drag link with one that has an improved geometry, free of charge. The recall began on October 13, 2015. Owners may contact Volvo customer service at 1-800-528-6586. Volvo's number for this recall is RVXX1503.

• SERVICE BRAKES, AIR:DISC:CALIPER#14V555000en anglais seulement11 septembre 2014

  Volvo Trucks North America (Volvo) is recalling certain model year 2014-2015 VAH, VNL, and VNM trucks manufactured March 4, 2013, to April 28, 2014. Due to the bolts holding the disc brake caliper to the backing plate not being tightened to the specified torque, the disc brake caliper may detach from the backing plate.

  Risque: If the disc brake caliper detaches from the backing plate it can affect the brakes to that particular wheel causing the vehicle to "pull" to the left or right, increasing the risk of a crash.

  Correctif: Volvo will notify owners, and dealers will inspect and tighten the bolts to specification, as necessary, free of charge. The recall began October 10, 2014. Owners may contact Volvo customer service at 1-800-528-6586. Volvo's number for this recall is RVXX1403.
