  Problème : Sur certains véhicules, l'étiquette de conformité pourrait ne pas comporter certains renseignements en français. Les éléments « Tires », « Rims », « Front » et « Rear » sont en anglais uniquement sur l'étiquette, sans leurs équivalents français qui devraient pourtant y figurer comme suit « Tires/Pneus », « Rims/Jantes », « Front/Avant » et « Rear/Arrière ». La réglementation canadienne exige que l'information soit inscrite en anglais et en français sur l'étiquette. Risques pour la sécurité : Ces petites erreurs n'ont aucune incidence sur la sécurité du véhicule. Mesures correctives : Il ne s'agit pas d'un rappel. Subaru a corrigé l'étiquette de conformité de tous les nouveaux véhicules.

  Problème : Un problème concernant certains commutateurs d'allumage de remplacement pourrait permettre à la clé de bouger hors de la position « ON » pendant que le véhicule est en mouvement. Par conséquent, le moteur pourrait s'arrêter soudainement. De plus, le système de coussins gonflables pourrait mal fonctionner en cas d'accident. Remarque : Il s'agit d'une campagne de rappel volontaire qui n'est pas exigée par la Loi sur la sécurité automobile. Ce problème touche seulement certaines pièces utilisées pour le remplacement de pièces d'origine. Risque pour la sécurité : Une perte soudaine de puissance motrice pourrait augmenter les risques d'accident. Un système de coussins gonflables qui ne fonctionne pas adéquatement en cas d'accident pourrait augmenter les risques de blessures. Mesure corrective : L'entreprise avisera les propriétaires par la poste. Les propriétaires touchés devront amener leur véhicule chez un concessionnaire afin de faire inspecter le commutateur d'allumage, ainsi que de le faire remplacer au besoin.

  Problème : Sur certains véhicules, une exposition à long terme à une température et à un degré d'humidité absolue élevés, combinée à un cycle de température élevé, pourrait dégrader le produit propulsif contenu dans le coussin gonflable avant du passager. Cela pourrait faire en sorte que le coussin gonflable se déploie avec plus de force qu'à la normale. Si le dispositif de gonflage de coussin gonflable se brisait, des fragments pourraient être projetés vers les occupants du véhicule ou endommager le coussin gonflable, ce qui empêcherait le coussin gonflable de fonctionner adéquatement. Risques : Si le véhicule a un accident nécessitant un déploiement de coussin gonflable, le dispositif de gonflage de coussin gonflable pourrait se briser et créer un risque de blessures. Mesures correctives : Les propriétaires seront avisés par courrier d'apporter leur véhicule à un concessionnaire pour faire remplacer le dispositif de gonflage de coussin gonflable avant du passager. Note : Le climat canadien dégrade lentement le produit propulsif. On effectue le présent rappel pour éliminer les risques à venir. On s'attend à ce que les dispositifs de gonflable de coussin gonflable soient remplacés avant que leur fonctionnement ne soit affecté.

  Sur certains véhicules, les gâches de fermeture de capot principale et secondaire pourraient présenter une défaillance en même temps. Si cela se produit, le capot pourrait s'ouvrir de façon inattendue pendant que le véhicule est en mouvement. Cela pourrait nuire à la capacité du conducteur à voir la route et les autres usagers de la route, ainsi qu'endommager le pare-brise. Ces problèmes pourraient causer un accident pouvant entraîner des blessures ou des dommages matériels (ou les deux). Correction : Les concessionnaires devront inspecter les gâches de fermeture de capot, ainsi que les nettoyer et les lubrifier ou les remplacer par des gâches de style actuel. These vehicles are equipped with certain air bag inflators assembled as part of the passenger frontal air bag modules used as original equipment or replacement equipment. In the event of a crash necessitating deployment of the passenger frontal air bag, these inflators may explode due to propellant degradation occurring after long-term exposure to absolute humidity and temperature cycling.

  Risque: An explosion of an inflator within the passenger frontal air bag module may result in sharp metal fragments striking the front seat passenger, driver or other occupants resulting in serious injury or death.

  Correctif: Subaru is notifying owners, and dealers will replace the front passenger air bag inflator, free of charge. The recall began on January 25, 2019. Owners may contact Subaru customer service at 1-844-373-6614. Subaru's number for this recall is TKC-19.

  Subaru of America, Inc. (Subaru) is recalling certain model year 2006-2014 Tribeca vehicles manufactured November 16, 2004, to January 27, 2014. Due to a possible malfunction of the hood safety system and hood lock system, the hood may open unexpectedly while driving.

  Risque: If the hood unexpectedly opens while driving, it may interfere with the driver's visibility, increasing the risk of a crash.

  Correctif: Subaru will notify owners, and dealers will complete this recall in two phases. Phase one will involve inspection, cleaning, and lubricating the hood safety and hood lock systems. If after this is performed the hood latch does not operate properly, it will be replaced with a new current style part. Phase two will involve installing an improved hood safety system and hood lock system. Interim notification was mailed March 4, 2016. Owners may contact Subaru customer service at 1-800-782-2783. • POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION#13V336000en anglais seulement1 août 2013

  Subaru of America is recalling certain model year 2014 Legacy 3.6R and Outback 3.6R and 2013 Tribeca vehicles manufactured June 12, 2013, through June 28, 2013 and equipped with 5-speed automatic transmissions. In the affected vehicles, the parking rod may come loose inside the automatic transmission.

  Risque: As a result of the parking rod detaching, the transmission may not be able to be moved from the "park" position preventing the vehicle from being moved or driven. Furthermore, even with the transmission shifted into the 'park' position, the parking mechanism may not engage, and the vehicle may roll away while in the "park" position, increasing the risk of a crash.

  Correctif: Subaru will notify owners, and dealers will replace the transmission, free of charge. The recall began during August 2013. Owners may contact Subaru at 1-800-782-2783. Subaru's recall number is WQJ-46.
