  Problème : La rampe d'alimentation en carburant de certains autobus peut se mettre à fuir. Remarque : Ce rappel concerne uniquement les autobus équipés d'un moteur diesel L9 de Cummins. Risques pour la sécurité : Une fuite de carburant peut créer un risque d'incendie. Mesures correctives : New Flyer doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur demander d'amener leur autobus à un centre de services Cummins autorisé pour faire inspecter la rampe d'alimentation. Si des dommages sont constatés, la rampe d'alimentation et les canalisations seront remplacés. Si aucun dommage n'est constaté, la rampe d'alimentation sera réassemblée en installant de nouvelles rondelles de compression à l'aide d'un outil spécial.

  New Flyer of America, Inc. (New Flyer) is recalling certain XD35, XDE35, XE35, XN35, XD40, XDE40, XE40, XHE40, XN40, XT40, XD60, XDE60, XE60, XN60, XT60, and XHE60 transit buses. Please refer to New Flyer's recall report for specific model year information. The antilock braking (ABS) and electronic stability control (ESC) module may lose communication and fail without illuminating the warning lights. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard numbers 121, "Air Brake Systems" and 136, "Electronic Stability Control Systems on Heavy Vehicles."

  Risque: An ABS or ESC warning light that fails to illuminate will not alert the driver to the loss of ABS or ESC, increasing the risk of a crash.

  Correctif: New Flyer will update the software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 17, 2026. Owners may contact New Flyer's customer service at 1-800-241-2947.

  New Flyer of America, Inc. (New Flyer) is recalling certain 2013-2022 XDE35, XDE40, XDE60, XE40, XN40, 2017-2022 XE60, 2014-2022 XT40 and XT60 transit buses equipped with a double tilt steering column. The steering column connection to the upper steering shaft may become loose.

  Risque: A loose steering shaft can cause a loss of steering, increasing the risk of a crash.

  Correctif: Dealers will replace the steering column and shaft components, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on February 1, 2023. Owners may contact New Flyer's customer service at 1-204-224-6706. New Flyer's number for this recall is R22-035.

• FUEL SYSTEM, DIESEL:FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM:FUEL RAIL#21V365000en anglais seulement18 mai 2021

  New Flyer of America, Inc. (New Flyer) is recalling certain 2017-2021 XD40, XD35, 2016-2021 XD60, 2017 XDE35, 2016-2020 XDE40, XDE60 vehicles. The sealing washer may not seat correctly in the pilot bore holes, allowing the high pressure fuel rail assembly to leak.

  Risque: A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source increases the risk of a fire.

  Correctif: New Flyer will inspect the rail threads, and replace the rail as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on June 28, 2021. Owners may contact New Flyer customer service at 1-204-224-6706. New Flyer's number for this recall is R21-008.

• VISIBILITY:SUN/MOON ROOF ASSEMBLY#19V100000en anglais seulement15 février 2019

  New Flyer Industries Ltd. (New Flyer) is recalling certain 2018 XDE60 and XD40, 2018-2019 XN40, and 2019 XE60 heavy duty urban transit buses. The affected vehicles are equipped with an AS-3 tempered glass panel in the rooftop emergency escape hatch that may shatter in extreme cold temperatures.

  Risque: If the roof hatch glass shatters, glass particles could fall down onto passengers, increasing the risk of injury.

  Correctif: New Flyer has notified owners, and dealers will replace the tempered glass panel, free of charge. The recall began on March 6, 2019. Owners may contact New Flyer customer service at 1-204-224-6706. New Flyer's number for this recall is R19-002.

  New Flyer of America Inc. (New Flyer) is recalling certain 2016-2018 New Flyer XDE60, XDE40, and 2017 XDE35 transit buses, equipped with certain Allison transmission hybrid drive units. The pressure switches on these drive units may fail, possibly resulting in a loss of drive.

  Risque: A loss of drive can disable the vehicle unexpectedly, increasing the risk of a crash.

  Correctif: New Flyer will notify owners, and Allison Transmission service centers will replace the C1 and C2 pressure switches, free of charge. The recall began on September 25, 2018. Owners may contact New Flyer customer service at 1-204-224-6706. New Flyer's number for this recall is R18-014.

  New Flyer of America Inc. (New Flyer) is recalling certain 2016-2018 XDE40 and XDE60 and 2017 XDE35 Heavy Duty Urban Transit buses. The plastic end-caps of the drive shaft slip yoke may crack and fail.

  Risque: Failure of the drive shaft end-caps would result in a loss of drive power, increasing the risk of a crash.

  Correctif: New Flyer will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the drive shaft slip yoke, replacing any drive shaft that has plastic end-caps on the slip yoke, free of charge.
