  Problème Le présent rappel vise le verre de lunettes arrière de rechange issues du marché secondaire et produites par Vitro Automotriz. Dans certains cas, le verre n’aurait pas été adéquatement trempé et pourrait se séparer en gros morceaux plutôt qu’en très petits si la lunette cassait. Remarque : le présent rappel est volontaire et ne découle pas des exigences de la Loi sur la sécurité automobile. Risque en matière de sécurité La séparation du verre en gros morceaux pourrait poser un risque de blessure. Mesures correctives L’entreprise informera les consommateurs concernés du problème par courrier et leur demandera de vérifier le code d’identification marqué sur le verre. Les produits visés par le présent rappel comportent l’identifiant « DOT 287 » avec l'inscription VMR (marché de remplacement) et un code de date antérieur à juillet 2019. Cette information est imprimée dans le coin inférieur du verre.   Dans certains véhicules dotés d'une trousse de conversion en ambulance ou en véhicule de lutte contre les incendies et munis d'un moteur diesel de 6,7 L, le message « Stop Safety Now » (arrêter immédiatement le véhicule en toute sûreté) pourrait s'afficher et cinq sons d'avertissement pourraient être émis si une défaillance du capteur de température des gaz d'échappement est détectée. Le couple du moteur sera graduellement réduit de 70 % sur une période de 45 s, jusqu'à un niveau de puissance réduite qui sera maintenu. Durant cette période, il n'y aura aucune incidence sur le braquage, le freinage, l'éclairage, les dispositifs électriques ou les dispositifs de retenue, ce qui permettra au conducteur de manœuvrer le véhicule jusqu'à un endroit sûr. Ce problème pourrait causer un arrêt du moteur, ainsi que rendre impossible le redémarrage rapide du véhicule par la suite. Si ce problème survient lorsqu'un véhicule doté d'une trousse de conversion en ambulance ou en véhicule de lutte contre les incendies est utilisé pour le transport d'un patient ou pour fournir une assistance médicale, cela pourrait retarder le traitement médical, ainsi qu'augmenter les risques de blessures pour le patient.   Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain model year 2011-2015 Ford F-350, F-450, and F-550 trucks manufactured February 22, 2010, to January 30, 2015, and equipped with ambulance or fire engine preparation packages. The affected vehicles may detect an incorrect Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor (EGT) fault indicating that the vehicle is too hot, causing the engine management system to shut down the engine and prevent its immediate restart.

  Risque: Engine shut down and a subsequent cool down period may delay medical treatment or assistance to those needing it, increasing their risk of injury.

  Correctif: Ford will notify owners, and dealers will update the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) software, free of charge. The recall began on April 22, 2015. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 15S09.

  Life Line Emergency Vehicles (Life Line) is recalling certain model year 2014-2015 Life Line-modified Ford F-Series emergency vehicles that are equipped with Liquid Spring-brand aftermarket suspension kits. The mounting bracket that attaches the suspension fluid tank to the frame may fail allowing the fluid tank to separate from the vehicle.

  Risque: If the suspension fluid tank mount fractures and the tank separates from the chassis, the tank may become a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash.

  Dual-Tech, Inc. (Dual-Tech) is recalling certain model year 2009-2014 Ford F-550 Super Duty trucks modified by Dual-Tech, equipped with certain Muncie Power Products PTO Assemblies. In the affected vehicles, oil may leak from the PTO pressure switch onto a thermal blanket covering the exhaust.

  Risque: The leaking oil may soak into the thermal blanket covering the exhaust, which when combined with heat from exhaust, may result in an increased risk of fire.

  Correctif: Dual-Tech will notify owners, and dealers will install a new pressure switch kit that moves the switch away from the exhaust system, free of charge. The recall began June 20, 2014. Owners may contact Dual-Tech customer service at 1-800-852-0345.
