  Problème : Sur certains véhicules, la bride de l'arbre de raccordement avant (arbre intermédiaire) pourrait se fracturer. Si cela se produit, cela pourrait entraîner une perte de puissance motrice. De plus, si cela se produit pendant que le véhicule est stationné sans que le frein de stationnement soit serré, le véhicule pourrait se mettre en mouvement. Risques pour la sécurité : Une perte de puissance motrice ou un véhicule qui se met en mouvement pourrait augmenter les risques d'accident. Mesures correctives : Le constructeur doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur demander d'amener leur véhicule chez un concessionnaire pour faire remplacer la bride de l'arbre de raccordement avant.

  Sur certains véhicules, le mauvais nickelage de certaines composantes internes de la pompe à carburant pourrait contaminer la pompe et potentiellement causer un mauvais fonctionnement de celle-ci. Ainsi, le moteur pourrait ne pas démarrer ou caler à tout moment ou il pourrait être impossible de le redémarrer, ce qui pourrait augmenter les risques d'accident. Correction : Les concessionnaires doivent remplacer le module d'acheminement du carburant.

  Sur certains véhicules, la pince de retenue de l'arbre de roue motrice du côté droit pourrait ne pas avoir été entièrement insérée, ce qui pourrait permettre le détachement de cet arbre. Si cela se produit lorsque le véhicule est en mouvement, il pourrait y avoir une perte de puissance motrice. Si le problème se produit lorsque le véhicule est stationné dans une pente sans que le frein de stationnement ait été serré, le véhicule pourrait se déplacer de façon inattendue. Ces deux circonstances pourraient augmenter le risque d'un accident pouvant entraîner des blessures ou des dommages matériels (ou les deux). Correction : Les concessionnaires devront inspecter les arbres de roue motrice afin de s'assurer qu'ils sont bien fixés en place et effectuer des réparations au besoin.

  Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2014-2016 Explorer, 2014-2015 Taurus and 2014 Edge vehicles equipped with 2.0L or 2.3L engines and front wheel drive. The support bracket for the front drive axle halfshaft may fail.

  Risque: The failed bracket could result in a loss of park function which can cause unintended vehicle movement, and loss of motive power while driving which increases the risk of a crash.

  Correctif: Ford will notify owners, and dealers will replace the link shaft bracket, free of charge. Parts are not currently available. Owners received an interim notification detailing safety risk December 8, 2020. A second letter will be mailed when parts become available in January 2021. The recall began February 2, 2021.   Ford Motor Company (Ford) notified the agency on January 8, 2015, that they are recalling certain model year 2014 Ford Escape vehicles manufactured April 15, 2014, to May 8, 2014, and 2015 Lincoln MKC vehicles manufactured April 21, 2014, to May 15, 2014. On April 30, 2015, Ford expanded the recall to cover an additional 45,505 vehicles, including certain model year 2014-2015 Ford Transit Connect vehicles manufactured November 11, 2013, to August 29, 2014, 2014-2015 Ford Fiesta vehicles manufactured April 10, 2014, to June 17, 2014 and 2014 Ford Edge vehicles manufactured April 30, 2014, to May 21, 2014. Improper nickel plating of components within the fuel pump may result in the fuel pump failing.

  Risque: If the fuel pump fails, the vehicle may stall without warning, increasing the risk of a crash.

  Correctif: Ford will notify owners, and dealers will replace the fuel pump, free of charge. The recall began on February 27, 2015. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 14S30.

• POWER TRAIN:AXLE ASSEMBLY:AXLE SHAFT#14V393000en anglais seulement2 juillet 2014

  Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain model year 2012-2014 Ford Edge and Lincoln MKX vehicles manufactured September 2, 2010, to November 30, 2013; 2013-2014 Ford Taurus and Lincoln MKS vehicles manufactured August 25, 2011, to November 30, 2013; and 2013-2014 Ford Flex and Lincoln MKT vehicles manufactured September 12, 2011, to November 30, 2013. In the affected vehicles, the halfshaft retention circlip may not have been properly installed, and as a result, the halfshaft may move outward and disengage from the linkshaft while driving and without prior warning.

  Risque: If the halfshaft and linkshaft become disengaged while driving, power will no longer be transmitted to the wheels, increasing the risk of a vehicle crash. Additionally, if the parking brake is not applied before exiting the vehicle, the vehicle may roll away despite the transmission being placed in 'Park', increasing the risk of injury to exiting occupants and bystanders.

  Correctif: Ford will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the vehicles to make sure that the halfshaft is properly retained. If it is not, dealers will replace the linkshaft and also replace the halfshaft if it shows evidence of spline damage, free of charge. The recall began on August 4, 2014.
